Tourism is a major thing in Nepopu. But some of the tourists are polluting the beaches, there is garbage on some of the most beautiful beaches. People try to keep it clean but they keep destroying it. It is a big environmental problem and the animals are suffering. Fish are showing up on the shores dead. Birds are eating the garbage and getting killed. Nepopu is trying very hard to prevent the pollution.
